Interested in joining the Child Care Crew Family? You’ll need to fill out an application!
13-17 years old? You’ll want to check out the OCF Teen Crew.
Please note that the crew is full for the 2025 season. Late openings do come up infrequently, though, so please fill out an application if you’re interested in joining us! In the meantime, there are lots of great volunteer crews that may be looking for help. Ask around!
Keep in mind that working with Child Care means making a commitment:
All crew members must:
- • Commit to 16 hours of work for Child Care during the Fair.
- • Arrive and check in no later than noon on Thursday, July 10th, 2025.
- • Commit to participating in various activities on Thursday as we prepare for the thousands of OCF friends and families that will visit our areas .
- • Complete each assigned shift in a Child Care area.
- • Commit to remaining at Fair through at least the end of your final shift, likely on Sunday, July 13th, 2025.
How do I volunteer for the OCF Child Care Crew?
Due to the nature of the work we do, we will not consider incomplete application packages. To be considered for the Child Care Crew you must:
- • Submit a completed Child Care Crew application.
- • Provide a current resume and three relevant personal or professional references.
- • Provide a snapshot of current photo ID.
- • Agree to a full federal criminal background check
- • Agree to comply with all of the guidelines established by the Oregon Country Fair.
- • Understand that a criminal background check will run by the OCF, the results of which will be known to the Crew Coordinators.
- • Understand that submitting an application does not guarantee a space on the Child Care Crew.
- • Understand that Child Care has a reliable returning crew and that crew spaces are not available very often. Be sure to make connections with other crews for potential crew placement.
